Both villages lie above Bohinjska Bistrica. Nemški rovt is a small village with a church of sv.Ahaca with the picture of Brixen Bishops - the history landlords of territory Bled and Bohinj. On Kobal`s house we can admire some well preserved elements from baroque age. At the entrance to the village there is Pension Resje, where you can enjoy your stay in nice furnished rooms and cuisine at their inn.
The village Ravne is situated by the ski center Kobla - between two chairlifts Kobla I and Kobla II. Near the village, but in the middle of ski center, there is an alpine hut Mencingerjeva koča, a sightseeing point with a magnificent view to Julian Alps and the whole Lower Bohinj valley and the lake itself.
