Healthy climate

The village Predmeja is the best known after the first ski competition in the Central Europe. In memory of that, the residents of Predmeja every year organise the traditional Filipov tek - the ski competition with old equipment. In every autumn the event Lokavška furnga is going on, which is also in the memory of old times. People from Lokavec and Predmeja Earned some money by transporting woods to the valley.

Points of distinction : The settlement on Gora is an excellent starting point for amazing natural sight-seeings of Trnovski gozd:
- ice caves, where ice is kept also in summer time,
- gorges with temperature and vegetable inversion,
- various flora species.
