 Opposite Maribor's castle on the eastern side stands the three storied neo-Baroque palace of the Town Savings Bank - Mestna Hranilnica.The building, which is adorned with two balconies and a corner cupola, was built in the year 1910 on the place of the former Herzog's tannery.
