The rotunda stands on the undulating terrain of Goričko, at the edge of the village Selo. It was probably built in the 13th century. A cylindrical church interior with a shallow dome is recognisable, as is a reconstructed semicircular apse on the west side. The exterior of the brick building is divided by buttress-frames and decorative attica. The entrance to the church is on the south side, as are the Romanesque windows.

The round interior with shallow niches in the wall has preserved two layers of paintings. The older one with a recognisable depiction of the Adoration of the Magi (a layer of colour has been destroyed), is from the first third of the 14th century and is perhaps connected with an order of knights and their successors. The newer layer is from the beginning of the 15th century. The iconographically interesting Throne of Mercy in a mandorla is depicted, and in the circle around the round nucleus of frescos, scenes from the Passion. All the images are extremely thoughtfully arranged in the apparent cupola and the area below it. The lower layers of the painting, which reached to the floor, can only be deduced. In the years 1845-1846 the church was rebuilt. The semicircular apse was torn down and replaced with an entrance hall and bell tower above it. The entire structure was reconstructed back into its original form in 1956 and 1979. East of the church stands a ruined wooden bell tower.

The sanctuary is regularly maintained, the key is kept in a house in the village.
