On the crossroads to Logatec and Idrija there is the old school which still reminds of mighty Loka's dominion in the hands of the bishops of Freising.
It is one of the oldest and one of the most fine buildings in Žiri.
It was used as hunting lodge for Loka's lordship and later it became post for the merchants to stop and refresh themselves and their animals; later there was school and now there are museum and gallery.
In the museum there is exposed: shoemaking collections, lace-making collections, art collections and events from the second world war.
