Koča na planini Razor mountain hut, , , mountains hut alps cottage hiking alpine shelter, The mountain hut is located on the Razor alpine pasture, which spreads on the coastal slope of the Lower Bohinj mountains (Spodnje Bohinjske gore). In two restaurant areas there are 100 seats, a bar counter; at the tables in front of the hut are 60 seats; there are 20 rooms with 86 beds, there are 10 communal beds, winter room with 10 beds; toilets on the ground and first floor, washing room with cold water on the ground floor; the restaurant areas are heated by stoves; rainwater, photo-voltage cells for electricity, radio connection. The view From the hut and from the Razor alpine pasture there is a magnificent view. On the east rise the slopes of Žabiški Kuk. There is a wide view towards the south on the Tolmin Basin (Tolminska kotlina), the plteau Banjška planota and the Gulf of Trieste (Tržaški zaliv). On the west the view reaches to Matajur and the mountains of Krn , and one can see the nearby Tolminski Migovec. On the north above the Razor alpine pasture rises the range of the Lower Bohinj Mountains with the peaks of Vrh nad Škrbino, Meja, Rušnati vrh, Vrh Planje, Vrh Krnic and Vogel. If one ascends to the pass Globoko under Vrh Planje, there opens a wide view on the Bohinj side, the Julian Alps with Triglav and the Karavanke. Access Car: from Tolmin along the local road to the Lom alpine pasture (1029 m) 16km, or another 2km farther along the forest road (not as well regulated as the first one) to the Kuk alpine pasture (1150 m); from the Lom alpine pasture there is 1h45 to the hut, from the Kuk alpine pasture 1h15. By the Land Rover vehicle it is possible do drive to the hut. The BS Tolmin (to Most na Soči by train as well, from Most to Tolmin by local and intercity busses): from Tolmin across Tolminske Ravne 4h, from Tolmin through Poljubinj and across the Lom alpine pasture 5h.
