A park and forest learning path featuring the natural and historical curiosities of the forest plain.
Access and starting point: Via Road 905 from Bled or from Bohinj to Mrzli Studenec, where we leave the vehicle in the parking lot.
Description: The path is circular and marked with direction signs placed on little columns. We go from Mrzli Studenec to the Grajska planina alp, from where we continue along the Great Bled Marshes to the Goreljek alp, where we again come to the typical Pokljuka marshes, of great interest to natural sciences. In the continuation of our walk through the pine forests, we return to the starting point past the charcoal-making cottage with a typical pile in which charcoal is traditionally produced, the remnants of the Austria-Hungary reserve defence line from World War One and other sights.
