Access and starting point: We drive from Bled via routes 905 and 906 to the road fork by the Šport hotel, where we leave our vehicle by the road or in the parking lot in front of the hotel. Description: Starting opposite to the road fork behind the Šport hotel is a marked path,along which we reach the Javornik alp. From there, we ascend the Lipanca alp, where a mountain cottage is located. We are already very close to the west edge of the Pokljuka plateau; we stop on the edge to admire the magnificent panoramic view after descending to the Debela peč peak through the forest and dwarf pines. We return via the same path.
