Kmetija Šumečnik - "Šumeček" v Strmecu nad Dobrno v neokrnjeni naravi vabi vse, ki si želite sprostitve in uživanja dobre domače hrane. Kmečka soba sprejme skupine do 30 oseb in Lovska soba skupine do 30 oseb. Kmetija Šumečnik ponuja domačo prehrano npr.: divjačinski golaž, segedinar, gobovo juho z ajdovimi žganci in kruh iz domače peči, prekmursko gibanico. Ponujajo vse vrste pijač.


Šumečnikov slap ob domačiji je opredeljen kot naravna vrednota in se nahaja tik pod stanovanjsko hišo v obliki štiri metrskega slapišče s tolmunom, ki le za kratek čas ustavi vodo, da potem zopet zdrsne po še enem, nižjeležečem, tri metrskem slapišču (skupna višina slapišča je sedem metrov).
