Erik's Pond is a unique pond in the region with an island above its level. The surface of the pond, which is private property, is 3,800 m2 and the deepest point is 2 metres. A paradise for trout fishing, it was restored in 1970, but its concept dates back to the years before World War I. Ducks nest on the island in the middle of the pond and kingfishers are often spotted there. The fishing season begins in March and lasts until 20 September.
