A local name of the farm - Sutor - in Latin means a shoemaker. It is said that there was once also a shoemaker's workshop on this wine cultivating farm. The cellars on the farm were built in the end of the 19th century; the room from 1933 has been rearranged into a degustatory room, a place for gathering. The vineyards stretch on the extreme end of the Vipava Valley. They grow Chardonnay, Rebula, White Riesling, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Malvasia and Sauvignon, all nature friendly and using old methods. They bottle Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Merlot and a wine called Burja (Rebula, Malvasia, White Riesling). The farm is included in the project Vipava wine road.
